Helping people navigate healthcare-legal-regulatory worlds to reclaim true freedom and healing

Is this a law firm?

This is not a law firm. This is a specialized healthcare-legal-regulatory firm that offers consulting, advising, and training to a wide variety of clients. The firm cannot represent clients before a court of law. The firm can, however, review legal documents, offer strategy, legal information, and guide clients before hospital committees and be a non-attorney representative for clients in administrative agency hearings such as state licensing boards hearings.

Can or does the firm legally represent clients?

The firm does not legally represent clients in the way that most law firms are able to legally represent clients. The firm may represent licensed professionals before state disciplinary boards, credentialing committees, or hospitals. The firm can and has the capacity to write amicus briefs, partnering with U.S. Supreme Court-barred attorneys. The firm cannot, however, represent clients in a medical malpractice lawsuit, but will refer these cases to attorneys who are best suited and have the best chance of successfully handling these matters. This is because healthcare regulatory and licensing are under the executive branch and under administrative law, which does not always require the judiciary’s involvement. Nonattorneys and nonlicensed individuals may typically represent individuals before an administrative court. The executive branch has a different legal authority structure from the judiciary. What is the difference between advice or legal information provided by this firm vs legal advice?

This firm offers healthcare regulatory advice and information on understanding licensing-disciplinary boards. This is specialized knowledge based on research (legal research, academic-medical research, and regulatory governance information) to best support healthcare-legal-regulatory needs.

This firm also provides legal information, and provides legal information in its consulting, regulatory advising, and training.

Legal information is distinct from legal advice and no information provided by this firm constitutes legal advice. See: https://judicature.duke.edu/articles/legal-information-vs-legal-advice-a-25-year-retrospective/#:~:text=Legal%20advice%20is%20counseling%3A%20A,to%20decide%20what%20to%20do%3F”

Are there licensed attorneys available to connect with?

The firm itself is well-connected with a number of licensed attorneys. If the client’s issues go beyond the scope of the firm’s regulatory, licensing, or healthcare consulting practices, a licensed attorney will be brought on to ensure adequate and full legal representation of the case, and the client will be advised of this need, along with a new pricing arrangement.

Who are your client types?
